Saturday, October 16, 2021 We must be on the watch for the possibility of extreme volatility over the next three weeks. I look for Gold above $2,000 by the end of January. Comment on indicators: PPE: Price to Peak Earnings shows the market overvalued similar to past extremes like the extremely overvalued markets in 2000, 1987, 1973, 1966, 1929,1901. Market lows in the first 90 days after these highs were 19%,41%,15%, 14%, 49%,15%. Market Cycle Forecast: Over the next few months I look for month-end lows, September, October, and November, with bounces the first week of each month. New Active Traders Index (volume) NYSE volume has broken down and Nasdaq volume has not YET confirmed. Heavy Nasdaq volume will be the key to timing the big part of the decline. COT updates: S&P 500 - Negative Nasdaq - Negative Russell 2000 - Neutral Gold - Positive Silver - Positive Swiss - Positive |

Saturday, October 16, 2021 Australia's Market The All-Ords index rose 0.7% last week after rising 1.7% the week before. It has now broken out of its downward channel but is still 2.8% below its last peak on Friday 13th August. The Australian share market remains slightly bearish on short-medium term trend analysis but is bullish on medium-long term trend analysis. America's Market America’s S&P500 share index is fractionally bearish on short-to-medium term trend analysis. Its MACD momentum indicator went strongly positive last Thursday and Friday. If it sustains that the index will go bullish next week. The US share market’s medium-to-long-term trend and momentum remain extraordinarily bullish. |
